A Metropolitan West School Sport Life Membership award may be conferred on any official who meets the following criteria:
- A minimum of twenty years exemplary service and development of school sport at the regional level. Service includes:
- A member of the Metropolitan West School Sport Board; and/or
- A regional team official, and/or
- A regional trial convenor, and/or
- A state championship convenor.
- Has demonstrated respected leadership of colleagues within the service of Metropolitan West School Sport.
- Has made a significant contribution to school sport within the region.
