The Ken McGuire medal will be awarded each year to a Metropolitan West School Sport official. The official could be a regional coach, manager, assistant coach, trainer, convenor and/or a state convenor. This individual will not only have excelled in preparing, organising and competing with teams but is an official that has gone above and beyond their required official duties. The award winner will truly inspire their athletes, nurture friendships and team spirit, get involved with and promote their sport at a grassroots level as well as proudly representing Metropolitan West School Sport and endeavours to promote our motto 'In pursuit of sporting excellence'.
