The Metropolitan West School Sport Board is responsible for the provision and administration of Primary and Secondary School Sport in the western and south-western suburbs of Brisbane, through Ipswich and the Lockyer and Fassifern Valleys. Under the Met West banner sit 16 districts and in excess of 100,000 students from more than 200 individual schools.
Met West is proud of its history and the regional colours bottle green and gold are valued highly amongst Met West students as they strive to represent the region in their chosen sport. The regions proven history and reputation have been achieved through a passion for students and their sporting endeavours and the hard work and dedication of its staff.
Swimming Qld Multi Class Classification weekend
Swimming Queensland is holding a National level classification weekend on 25/26 March at the Sleeman Sports Complex - Chandler, Brisbane.

CHANGES TO PROJECT CONSENT FORM PROCESS FOR ALL MET WEST SCHOOL SPORT REPRESENTATIVES
Please note that Education Queensland has
advised of a new procedure for Project Consent for representative school sport.
As of semester 2 (2016), all families with students selected in Metropolitan
West School Sport teams must abide by this new procedure and previous
advice/approvals/documents no longer apply.
Students selected in Metropolitan West
School Sport Teams must complete a project
consent form for every team. This applies regardless of the number of
Metropolitan West School Sport teams in which they are selected or how often.
Completed project consent forms must be returned to their Metropolitan West
School Sport team manager unless advised otherwise.
Note that providing consent allows for the
student’s name to be printed in the program, for results of the championship to
be published and printed and, on occasion, for images to be taken and published
on listed social media websites. For further information, please contact your
